Membership is open to all graduates who hold an associate or equivalent degree or higher from a qualified educational institution (those that offer recognized associate, baccalaureate, or higher degrees and that have full regional or appropriate professional association approval).  Until graduating with that degree, a student affiliate may participate in all AAUW activities except for holding office or voting.
