THE AAUWMO COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIPS INITIATIVE

ABOUT THE AAUW PARTNER PROGRAM

Providing educational opportunities for women has been a cornerstone of AAUW since our founding! Each year, AAUW branches and our national organization offer many scholarships, grants and fellowships for students. In 2022, AAUW awarded over $6 million in graduate fellowships.

AAUW offers colleges and universities the opportunity to partner with AAUW in order to offer the benefits of AAUW membership to their students. Besides free membership in AAUW, student members have access to many resources of AAUW to help them in their academics, their careers, and their lives. At some schools, these AAUW student members organize their own student groups to bring AAUW’s focus on equity to their campuses. Student members can extend their free membership for one year after graduation.

College students may also participate in AAUW’s annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders. Many branches across the state offer scholarships for students to attend this life-changing event.
